How low can you go? – On my Om

I'm still on Facebook due to a mixture of bad faith and not wanting to lose contact with certain people.

I'm going through a concert drought. Need some shows to go to.

Listened to the podcast, Spectral Fields - Chapters 27-39

By Wyrd Kalendar

"The Kalendar Host has been reading.

He has found himself lost in β€œA Year in the Country - Wandering Through Spectral Fields” by Stephen Prince. This incredible work has inspired a new journey out of the Kalendar Heath and across these Spectral Fields to discover music, ideas, stories, folk horror jaunts, hauntological treats and nostalgic terror."

I'd never heard of that particular thing before and after listening to a few examples I think I've been lucky.

β€œCarter, tears of terror mingling with make-up and the rain, squeezed the accordion. There was the long-drawn-out chord that by law must precede all folk music to give bystanders time to get away.”

Sad to think there'll be no more of this from Terry Pratchett.
